The year is 2016: Georg R. Wuchsa, fragrance lover, free spirit and founder of Scentamor, travels to New York to look for new fragrance trends in the urban lifestyle of Manhattan. When he flies home, he has actually discovered a new gem - HERETIC. Only today, several years later, is he ready to share this special brand and its extraordinary creations with us. The meaning of the brand name "HERETIC" refers to someone who does not conform to the ideals of the masses and goes his own way. Perhaps another reason why this brand is so fascinating for our perfume enthusiast Georg R. Wuchsa. After all, he has always gone his own way without paying too much attention to the opinion of the masses. An ideology that is also reflected in the brand's product development. HERETIC relies on the mysterious, sensual and wild aspects of nature in its products and swears by the craftsmanship of traditional perfumery. Founder, perfumer and creative director - and thus the driving force behind HERETIC Parfum - is Douglas Little. Even as a child, he was fascinated by scents. Through his decades of experience, he has learned to create perfumes that are nothing short of magical. Since the beginning of his career, Douglas has mixed and launched a variety of extraordinary fragrances made from natural materials, all of which are worth discovering.
The Mission: Natural vs. Synthetic
Most fragrances on the market are made from synthetic ingredients that are one-dimensional and obfuscating, whereas HERETIC's natural scents are multi-layered, conveying aspects of their origins, connecting with the skin and evolving into an olfactory signature. The brand is deliberately breaking away from the crowd to pursue a new path. HERETIC works with naturally-derived botanical ingredients to create vibrant, non-GMO functional fragrances that are blended in organic, non-GMO sugar cane alcohol. This is the best way to experience the Ayurvedic benefits of the powerful botanicals. 
The natural fragrances are handcrafted in small batches in their own studios in Los Angeles according to ancient perfume traditions and are vegan and cruelty-free. HERETIC's mission is to uncover the provocative side of natural products and the "dirty" side of "clean" products. Douglas Little believes that nature is incredibly sensual. That's why he works exclusively with these raw materials. tradition and craftsmanship
Inspired by ancient traditions, HERETIC creates its creations in the style of the witch doctors and alchemists of yesteryear. An artisanal creation process just like hundreds of years ago. Through traditional extraction processes such as distillation, expression and extraction, essential oils, isolates, absolutes and resins are extracted from plants and flowers, which are then mixed into the fragrances in high concentrations. This creates functional fragrances that bring with them the aromatherapeutic benefits of nature, such as the calming effect of jasmine or the invigorating properties of real citrus oils.
Nature on the Skin
HERETIC fragrances are light and transparent on the skin because they use natural ingredients and do not contain any chemicals or additives that artificially extend their shelf life. To extend the shelf life, we recommend that you reapply the fragrance regularly throughout the day. It is also possible to layer different HERETIC fragrances. This way, you can increase the overall intensity and create a completely individual and characteristic fragrance.
