Domitille Michalon-Bertier is a highly qualified Senior Perfumer at IFF (International Flavors & Fragrances) with over two decades of experience in the fragrance industry. She received her perfumery training at the prestigious ISIPCA perfumery school, which she attended from 1992 to 1994. In 1994, she began her career at IFF as a trainee.

In 2007, Domitille was promoted to Senior Perfumer and is now Vice President Perfumer at IFF. During her impressive career, she has worked with numerous well-known brands such as Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Dior, Lancôme, Marc Jacobs and Viktor & Rolf. Her most famous creations include Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight in Paris and Marc Jacobs Perfect.

Domitille draws her inspiration from a variety of sources such as cooking, art, traveling and reading. She has developed a unique method of translating words, inspirations and memories into fragrances. She also has a keen interest in working with natural ingredients and is constantly exploring new ingredients to enrich her repertoire. One of her favorite scents is the smell of Iris Concrete, and she has expressed a desire to work with a natural popcorn absolute. She also shared an original association of Timur pepper and vetiver.

Domitille is appreciated and recognized for her intuition, passion, perseverance, fragrance and creativity skills. Her professional career and impressive creations have made her a respected figure in the fragrance industry.
