Queen Margherita of Savoy also appreciated the outstanding quality of the fragrances. As a sign of her appreciation, she presented Claudio CASAMORATI with a gold brooch for his exceptional creations. Margherita of Savoy, born on November 20, 1851, was the first Queen of Italy and the wife of King Umberto I. She was a significant figure in Italian history and played an important role in promoting the monarchy and Italian national identity after unification.
