Balma Venitia is the creation of Thierry Lemahieu, a passionate designer and founder of the brand, deeply enamored with rare art and perfumes. His sculptural masterpiece, "Essence de ma Mémoire," showcased at the International Perfume Museum in Grasse, serves as a symbolic representation of the significance of scent in our lives
The essence of Balma Venitia emanates from Thierry Lemahieu's profound love for both perfume and art, introducing a new dimension to the world of fragrances. Each perfume within the brand's portfolio is a harmonious blend of sophistication and sensuality, narrating a distinct story that intertwines beauty and elegance.
Thierry Lemahieu gracefully divides his life between his dual passions—art and perfume. His familial estate, nestled between the vineyards at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, is not far from Avignon.
The "Dentelles de Montmirail" stands as an impressive mountain range in the Provence region of southern France, near Vaison-la-Romaine. The name "Dentelles," meaning "points," aptly describes the spike-shaped rock formations adorning the landscape, resembling fine points or teeth.
This region is renowned not only for its dramatic natural beauty but also for its charming villages nestled among the rocks, offering a picturesque backdrop for visitors. Rich in flora and fauna, the area boasts Mediterranean plant species like lavender, thyme, and rosemary.
MY STORY
"I divide my life and my time between my two passions, art and perfume. The family estate is located not far from Avignon, nestled between the vineyards at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. From this pure wilderness a scent rose like a cloud and enveloped completely immersed me. It was an unknown scent that blossomed in my mind and penetrated my heart.

An encounter with Marie Duchêne, perfumer in Grasse, transformed my sources of inspiration with the most beautiful ingredients to create sublime scents with increasingly natural formulas.
