Even as a child, Bruno Jovanovic was fascinated by scents, smells and everything to do with the sense of smell. He remembers that his mother's scent was a way for him to always have her with him.

During his time in France, Bruno Jovanovic's love of perfume grew. He often escaped from high school to the department store across the street, where he lost himself in the perfume displays.

After graduating in physics and chemistry from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie, he enrolled at the French perfume school ISIPCA. 
His teachers there included Dominique Ropion.

Bruno Jovanovic completed his studies with top marks and moved to New York. There he worked at IFF, right next to the office of Sophia Grossmann, one of the most famous American perfumers. She was involved in BEAU by Estée Lauder, for example, and later created Paris by Yves Saint Laurent, Eternity by Calvin Klein and Trésor by Lancôme.

Bruno Jovanovic spent more than 20 years between New York and Paris to create some of the most famous perfumes in the world. Among many others, he created the fragrance “Monsieur” from Frédéric Malle's “Editions de Parfums” collection.

Both intellectual and artistic, Bruno Jovanovic is inspired by both artists and philosophers. He searches for the essential, deconstructs and simplifies. He also takes into account time, its influence on the maturation of raw materials and their final olfactory form. He borrows his motto from Kant: “Beauty is universal and has no concept”

The modest and open Bruno Jovanovic is a dreamer who often combines ideas, scents, images or words. “I find it just as fascinating to convey the feeling of being 20 olfactorily as it is to interpret the velvety texture of a yogurt.”

Bruno Jovanovic focuses on creating both art and sensibility.
