Emilie Bouge
Emilie Bouge, a recognized perfumer, grew up near Grasse, a city closely linked to the world of perfume. This connection was strengthened by her grandparents, who owned the prestigious Bruno Court perfume factory, known for its deliveries to the Russian tsarist dynasty. Surrounded by exquisite Baccarat bottles and fine fragrances, Emilie developed a deep passion for perfume that shaped her career.
Her curiosity and the urge to explore the profound questions of life led her to make the art of perfumery her vocation. She combines artistic creativity with practical feasibility and a strong sense of aesthetics. Emilie has not only reinterpreted classic fragrances, but also created innovative scents to realize her vision of perfect perfumes.
Before joining Brecourt, she created fragrances for well-known brands such as Clarins, Esteban and Salvador Dalí. Her work at Robertet, a company known for its expertise in natural fragrances, has enabled her to have access to first-class raw materials that make her fragrances special. Emilie is particularly known for her reinterpretation of “Lys Noir” for Isabey, in which she developed a modern version of the classic fragrance with a blend of lilies, narcissus and black pepper.
In the perfume industry, Emilie Bouge is appreciated for her technical finesse and artistic approach, her fragrances being both olfactory works of art and an expression of her deep passion for the world of aromas and essences.
