Behind the Fragrance
Trudon - VIXI
A declaration of love to the lightness of being VIXI is the latest creation in the TRUDON fragrance collection with a fresh, aromatic and woody scent. The VIXI fragrance by TRUDON combines fresh, aromatic and woody notes and embodies spirituality and lightness. Discover the spiritual power of sandalwood from Nepal, the sacred essence of sage, the inviting freshness of bitter orange petitgrain oil and a soft floral note of jasmine. With VIXI, you embark on a journey into the light-heartedness of life.
For creator Emilie Bouge, VIXI symbolises a flow of life full of lightness and the exploration of one's own inner light. With precious sandalwood from Nepal, praised in oriental scriptures, and sage, which is used in spiritual cleansing rituals, VIXI symbolises a rebirth of life in clarity. A light fragrance with regenerative properties full of vitality and wisdom. Emilie Bouge, a French perfumer, grew up near Grasse, a town closely linked to the world of perfume. This connection was strengthened by her grandparents, who owned the prestigious Bruno Court perfume factory, known for supplying the Russian Tsar's house. Surrounded by exquisite Baccarat bottles and fine fragrances, Emilie developed a deep passion for perfume that shaped her career. Her curiosity and the urge to explore the profound questions of life led her to make the art of perfumery her vocation. She combines artistic creativity with practical feasibility and a strong sense of aesthetics. Emilie has not only reinterpreted classic fragrances, but has also created innovative scents to realise her vision of perfect perfumes. Before joining Brecourt, she created fragrances for well-known brands such as Clarins, Esteban and Salvador Dalí.
Her work at Robertet, a company known for its expertise in natural fragrances, has enabled her to have access to first-class raw materials that make her fragrances special. Emilie is particularly known for her reinterpretation of ‘Lys Noir’ for Isabey, in which she developed a modern version of the classic fragrance with a blend of lilies, narcissus and black pepper. In the perfume industry, Emilie Bouge is appreciated for her technical finesse and artistic approach, her fragrances being both olfactory works of art and an expression of her deep passion for the world of flavours and essences.
Since 1643, the name TRUDON has been synonymous with the oldest home fragrance manufacturer in the world. The scented candles, perfumes and room fragrance creations of this French master house are still lovingly handcrafted today in collaboration with renowned perfumers. Each product is unique and exudes an inimitable charm. Welcome to the world of TRUDON, where tradition, luxury and timeless elegance go hand in hand. Maison Trudon, originally known for its exquisite candles, has expanded its expertise in haute parfumerie with its own collection of eaux de parfum. Characterised by an olfactory complexity that expresses a personality rather than a specific genre, this collection reflects Trudon's commitment to creative freedom and the discovery of new horizons. Trudon's eaux de parfum include a variety of fragrances, including: Mortel, a sensual composition of black pepper, frankincense and myrrh. Bruma, which combines galbanum, violet and leather.
Aphélie, a blend of rose essence, blackcurrant bud and sandalwood. Révolution, characterised by notes of elemi, angelica and cade. Each of these perfumes is offered in attractively designed bottles reminiscent of the famous Trudon candles. The perfumes are available in both standard and travel sizes, making them ideal for travelling.
