The Story Behind the Scent: Everything but Oud
NOOUD is a paradox in a bottle. The name itself declares what the fragrance refuses to contain – no oud. And yet, what unfolds on the skin is rich, smoky, woody, even animalic. It’s everything we associate with oud… without actually being oud.

This was perfumer Dr. Spyros Drosopoulos’ challenge: to capture the impression of oud using no oud at all. Instead, he created an olfactory illusion – a clever composition of resins, balsams, and woods that evokes the deep, dark sensuality of oud while remaining something entirely its own.

NOOUD is not about ingredients. It’s about perception. It’s a study in absence made present – raw, hypnotic, and hauntingly physical.

The Fragrance Structure: Resinous, Smoky, Abstract
The top note opens with: dry air, sharp resins, a faint metallic spice.
A stark, minimal beginning – clear, cold, and distant, like a quiet space waiting to be filled.
