Behind the Fragrance
Carthusia - CORALLIUM - Eau de Parfum
CORALLIUM Eau de Parfum is a fragrance experience that springs directly from nature and the sea around the island of Capri. This perfume, characterised by fragrant woods, tree moss, aromatic herbs, flowers and fruits, unfolds a sensual aura. A fragrance composition of extraordinary intensity and sensuality, refined with notes of fragrant woods, aromatic herbs, flowers and fruits, which are given a rough note by the saltiness of the sea.
CORALLIUM by Carthusia is the fresh essence born from the sea to enchant. Tree moss, also known as oakmoss, is a lichen, meaning it is a symbiotic relationship between a fungus and an algae or cyanobacterium. This organic compound typically lives on the trunks and branches of trees, especially oaks, in various climates around the world. Oakmoss is highly prized in perfumery for its rich, earthy and woody scent with slightly damp and mossy notes. It is often used as a base note in many fragrance compositions to add depth and complexity and give fragrances a lingering presence.
Inspired by the Mediterranean island landscape, CORALLIUM brings the scents of Capri to life with its aromatic grasses, flowers and fruits ripened in the salty sea air. A tribute to the unique connection between land and sea, this perfume captures the essence of the island: the fresh breeze of the Mediterranean interspersed with the warmth and diversity of the island's landscape, making CORALLIUM an unforgettable fragrance experience. The island of Capri is also known for its lush vegetation and colourful gardens, which are spoiled by the mild Mediterranean sun. The Gardens of Augustus, laid out on terraces overlooking the sea, are a prime example of the botanical diversity and creative art that can be found on CAPRI.
