This place, which served not as a place of worship but as a refuge in hard times, was known for its unconventional hospitality. Decked out with neon signs, Christmas lights and a jukebox donated by the sheriff's son, it became a secular gathering place where locals came together to share their home-brewed moonshine, socialize and dance away worries.

They named their makeshift hangout Saint Julep, a place described in oral histories as a magical place where smiles are always free and salvation carries the unmistakable scent of sweet mint. SAINT JULEP is more than just a perfume; it is a reminder that even in the most difficult of times, there is a place to find solace and celebrate the joys of life.
