The HANZO fragrance develops over three phases: a fresh, invigorating top note, a spicy and exotic heart and a deep, earthy base. Each phase gives the perfume a unique radiance and has its own story of strength and serenity. Lychee and yuzu start with a refreshing and dynamic top note that awakens the senses.

This vibrant energy is balanced by green and woody accents of cypress and pine, which give the top notes a resinous depth reminiscent of the scent of a dense forest after a summer rain.  This is followed by a complex, exotic blend of floral and resinous notes in the heart. The fragrance is given a special intensity by mastic resin, an ancient ingredient known for its resinous, slightly citrusy freshness.

The rare and precious osmanthus blossom brings a slightly fruity, apricot-like sweetness to the composition. Ylang ylang and seaweed enhance the exotic side of HANZO with a slightly creamy, sweet floral note that provides a subtle warmth and a salty, fresh marine note. A spiritual dimension is added by olibanum, which has a calming and meditative effect with its deep, almost mystical resinousness. Vetiver and oakmoss provide earthy strength and stability.
