Olfactive Studio - VIOLET SHOT - Extrait de Parfum from the Sepia collection is elegant and woody. The violet shows all its facets in this fragrance. The fresh scent of cut grass combines with the sparkling accords of mandarin and rose. The violet leaves reveal their true personality, accompanied by the leathery notes of safflower.  The lush notes of vanilla pods and labdanum reveal all their sensuality and are emphasised by Indonesian patchouli. 

The second trilogy, Iris Shot, Violet Shot and Rose Shot, is the work of perfumer Dominique Ropion. 

Dominique Ropion is undoubtedly a fascinating master perfumer with a unique perspective on his impressive career and immeasurable passion. Although he had not originally planned to become a perfumer, he eventually found his calling in the world of fragrances.  It was only by chance that he was to become a perfumer when another student dropped out of perfumery school and was offered the job instead. Before accepting, he asked to meet some perfumers to get an idea of the profession. He spoke to Jean Amic, Jean Louis Sieuzac and Pierre Bourdon. ‘It usually takes me months to make up my mind, but I said to myself: why not? I moved to Grasse for three years and then returned to Paris to complete my training.’
