With the perfume ARIEL, Giovanni Sammarco has created his physical and mental idea of a woman as an olfactory painting and dedicated the romantic and sensual perfume to red-haired women. The composition skilfully combines floral, spicy and woody notes to create a seductive fragrance. The overture of ARIEL is lively, sparkling and full of energy. Mandarin provides this citrusy prelude and awakens the senses. A hint of ginger adds a subtle spiciness and sharpness.

Together, they pave the way for the complex fragrance creation. In contrast to the fresh mandarin is the slightly herbaceous and earthy note of angelica, which opens the transition to the richer, floral heart note.

The heart of ARIEL consists of lush blossoms that immediately cast their spell. A seductive tuberose dominates, steering the fragrance in a sensual direction with its creamy, narcotic notes. A romantic, slightly sweet elegance is added by the rose, which harmonises perfectly with the tuberose and gives ARIEL it‘s floral depth.  

The violet adds its delicate powderiness, creating a light and elegant contrast to the heavy flowers. Known for its fruity and slightly leathery facets, osmanthus provides a hint of apricot and tea nuances that lend ARIEL an exotic note. Everything blends into a seductive accord that is sensual, luxurious and profound.

These floral notes take on a rich depth with orris, which has a velvety and powdery texture, giving the perfume a refined creaminess and making it soft and sensual on the skin. The base note is earthy and warm. It becomes unexpectedly complex with smoky, earthy facets of tobacco. This note adds a masculine element to ARIEL and balances the lush floral notes from the heart notes.

Creamy, soft notes of sandalwood complement the powdery orris root and enhance the woody warmth, creating a texture that lingers on the skin. Davana, an aromatic plant with fruity and spicy facets, blends seamlessly into this already lush composition. It lends ARIEL a subtle sweetness and an exotic, herbaceous element.
