Behind the Fragrance

Xerjoff - Casamorati - DOLCE AMALFI - Eau de Parfum

Enter an unforgettable journey to the Amalfi Coast with this beguiling fragrance. Romantic and beautiful, Dolce Amalfi Casamorati immediately evokes the ancient streets of the eponymous town, with gourmand accents. The fragrance DOLCE AMALFI by Casamorati opens with a vibrant blend of quince and cardamom, complemented by the sweet and slightly spicy notes of apple and saffron.

This fresh and spicy opening leads to a rich heart of clove, frankincense and tolu balsam, giving the fragrance a deep and balsamic quality. The base notes of vanilla, tonka bean, musk and amber provide a warm and sensual foundation that lingers on the skin. Amalfi is a picturesque coastal town in the Campania region of south-west Italy. It is located on the Amalfi Coast of the same name, which is known for its breathtaking landscapes, steep cliffs and charming villages.

The town of Amalfi itself has a rich history dating back to Roman times. Amalfi, with its picturesque little streets, lies to the south of the exciting city of Naples. Amalfi offers several beautiful beaches, including the main beach Marina Grande. The steep cliffs and clear, turquoise-coloured water make the Amalfi Coast a popular destination for visitors from all over the world.

Amalfi is not only the namesake for the fragrance DOLCE AMALFI by Casamorati, but is also known for its culinary specialities. Among the most famous are the ‘limoncello’, a lemon liqueur made from the large, aromatic lemons of the region, as well as various seafood dishes and the traditional pasta ‘scialatielli’, this delicious dish with the special pasta, different from the classic spaghetti, and with fresh mussels, prawns and squid.

The CASAMORATI brand was founded in Bologna, Italy, in the 19th century and quickly became famous for its luxurious fragrances and soaps. The original perfumery ‘La Fabbrica di Profumi C. Casamorati’ was known for its high-quality products and won numerous awards and medals at international exhibitions. The brand was later revived by XERJOFF to honour the rich heritage and tradition of Italian perfumery.

Under the direction of Sergio Momo, the founder of XERJOFF, CASAMORATI has created a range of classic yet contemporary fragrances that recall the brand's glorious past. CASAMORATI fragrances are known for their luxurious and ornate bottles, often reminiscent of Art Nouveau designs, and their exquisite scent compositions that epitomise Italian elegance and sophistication.

Each fragrance tells a story and offers an olfactory journey through the rich history and culture of Italy.
