Behind the Fragrance
Xerjoff - Casamorati - QUATTRO PIZZI - Eau de Parfum
QUATTRO PIZZI reflects the history of a Sicilian dynasty that experienced fame, wealth and power. The Palazzina dei Quattro Pizzi is the famous palace that housed the most powerful family in Palermo, the Flori family. This family was an influential and wealthy family in Sicily, who had great importance through shipping, wine production and trade. They were known for their extravagant lifestyle and their generous patronage activities.
The fragrance QUATTRO PIZZI by CASAMORATI Heat and passion run through the notes of this fragrant story set against the breathtakingly beautiful backdrop of Sicily. An interplay of sweetness and spice with rum, davana and pink pepper hits the senses at the first spray, while the intoxicating notes of tuberose in the heart note enchant and seduce. QUATTRO PIZZI is a sensual fragrance that lingers on the skin like the forbidden touch of a lover, long after the sun has set. A perfume reminiscent of the Belle Époque, in which love, beauty and nobility mingled with mystery and sin.
The Palazzina dei Quattro Pizzi in Palermo.
The Palazzina dei Quattro Pizzi, also known as Casa Florio, is a striking building in Palermo known for its unique architecture. It was bought by Vincenzo Florio in 1830 and transformed into a noble residence by his friend Carlo Giachery. The neo-Gothic style building takes its name from the four distinctive towers or spires that protrude from the roof. The building is characterised by its square basic shape and the airy rooms with extraordinary colours. The rooms are furnished with valuable furniture characterised by special wood inlays. The Russian Tsar Nicholas I was so impressed during his visit in 1845 that he had a room of the Palazzina recreated in his residence in St. Petersburg. The Palazzina dei Quattro Pizzi is an important example of the architecture and lifestyle of the Belle Époque in Sicily. It represents the history and influence of the wealthy Florio family in Palermo.
