THE ART OF TELLING STORIES

It's strange how life works. Yesterday I was a newbie when it comes to niche fragrances, and the perfume industry far from the mainstream was completely foreign to me. Today I write texts about the most magnificent niche fragrances of our time and am literally thirsting for new information from the world of these exquisite perfumes. I am Miriam and I am jointly responsible for the stories and articles here on ScentNews. This unique world of fragrances, which is bursting with creativity, craftsmanship, sophistication and passion, quickly captivated me. It was only a matter of time before Georg R. Wuchsa, the founder of ScentAmor and a pioneer in the ranks of niche fragrance lovers, infected me with his passion. Never before have I been so quickly enthusiastic about a topic, and rarely has something aroused so much curiosity in me. This raises the question: is it because of Georg's captivating manner or the fascination of the fragrances themselves? Only one thing is certain: Without Georg and ScentNews, I would certainly have been denied insight into this world.

Time to dive

But I have always had a soft spot for the fine arts. As a trained graphic designer, freelance editor and artist, I love putting things in the right light and giving emotions a "face". Just like a work of art, scents have the power to tell stories and evoke associations - a commonality that fascinated me from the very beginning. As a mother of a 2-year-old child, there is often little time for daydreaming. That makes it all the more wonderful to become part of the impressive stories about the fragrance creations, their creators and the brands behind them by writing my texts and to be able to tell them in my own words. Every article takes me on a new journey, opens up new insights and lets me dive into another world for a short time. I am delighted that I can share my new-found enthusiasm and passion with you on ScentNews.
