Thibaud Crivelli – an emotional botanist
A curious and sensitive person, Thibaud developed an atypical approach to the beauty of nature from an early age. Born in Paris, he grew up between central France and Provence. In 2006, he moved to China and spent 10 years in various Asian countries, where his Western way of thinking was confronted with new influences. During this time, he had the opportunity to explore life in the here and now and to internalize the immensity of nature. In this way, he developed an empirical and multisensory approach to the nature of things. Thibaud discovered plantations with raw materials that inspired his senses and became one with his surroundings. Smelling burnt sandalwood on the slopes of an erupting volcano, zigzagging through a cocoa plantation on a motorbike, tasting absinthe under the Northern Lights or crossing an iris field on the edge of the desert are all extraordinary experiences that Thibaud wants to share with us through his scents. Through his very own way of combining textures, aromas and scents, he creates surprising results that testify to an exceptional knowledge of the art of perfumery.

With each haute perfumery creation, Thibaud Crivelli shares the memory of an unexpected and extremely sensual encounter with fragrance raw materials. Maison Crivelli's fragrance collection was developed in collaboration with different perfumers, each with a unique artistic approach. Each fragrance surprises with its contrasts, its originality and its modernity. Each perfume is created without a time limit. For each project, the perfumers are briefed with a multisensory mood board that reflects the experience that Thibaud Crivelli wants to share. The perfumers then propose creative compositions that are evaluated and, if necessary, revised until the final version of the perfume is validated. This process can take from several months to two years, which is why Maison Crivelli advocates the philosophy of slow perfumery. Each fragrance from this impressive brand invites us to take our time and discover the perfume from different angles to better understand the authenticity behind it. An exclusive multisensory experience is provided by the briefs given to the perfumers at the beginning of the creative process, which can only be found in the brand's boutiques and on the Maison Crivelli website. The words, images and sounds they contain provide a completely new perspective on the fragrances and give the creations a personal touch.

Thibaud Crivelli complements the craftsmanship of his perfumers with over 15 years of experience in researching plantations and raw material markets and a deep, sensorial and global understanding of perfume. The natural ingredients used in Maison Crivelli fragrances come from carefully selected partners. They are harvested by hand and gently processed to preserve the fragrant properties of the plants. Each perfume is created from a unique composition inspired by real experiences and captivating with unusual combinations of perfume raw materials. All fragrances are free of phthalates and dyes, vegan and not tested on animals. 
In line with its commitment to sustainability, Maison Crivelli uses minimalist, eco-friendly packaging design to minimize waste. The brand also supports sustainable farming methods that focus on perennial cultivation, soil conservation, the avoidance of chemical fertilizers and the highest quality standards.
