Originally from Burgundy, a well-known wine region in France, he discovered his passion for the complex facets of winemaking at an early age. At the same time, he was also fascinated by the world of perfumery, which motivated him to pursue a career in this field. 

After graduating in biochemistry from the University of Burgundy in Dijon, Epinette honed his skills in the art of fragrance creation at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in Grasse. In 2003, he joined the Paris office of Robertet, a leading fragrance and flavor company, and was part of the team that founded the New York creative center in 2006. He is now based and working in New York City. 

Jérôme Epinette has received recognition for his skillful use of exceptional natural ingredients, which he expertly combines with the finest synthetic materials to create unique and intriguing fragrances. He has created numerous best-selling and critically acclaimed fragrances for brands ranging from mainstream giants such as Victoria's Secret and L'Occitane en Provence to niche players such as Atelier Cologne and Luckyscent's Decennial line.

Jérôme Epinette's exceptional talent has earned him a reputation as one of the most sought-after perfumers in the industry, and he has been approached by several fragrance brands to create their signature scents. Recently, he brought his skills to an up-and-coming fragrance house, Floral Street, where he collaborated with the Chelsea Flower Show to create the Electric Rhubarb fragrance.
