Philly & Phill

PHILLY & PHILL is a German niche perfume brand that was founded in 2009. The brand was created by Tanja Bublitz and Stefan Cozma, whose own love story forms the inspiration for their fragrance creations.

PHILLY & PHILL's fragrance creations are the essences of love. Tanja Bublitz + Stefan Cozma have developed their fragrances based on their own love story. The individual fragrances reflect special places and moments from the couple's love story. They are a tribute to love in its countless facets.

PHILLY & PHILL's philosophy revolves around the idea that certain encounters can fundamentally change your life. Such special moments, which are often only significant for the people involved, are captured by the brand in the form of perfumes. Each fragrance tells a story of passion and intense emotions that are so significant that they could be immortalised in a diary.
PHILLY & PHILL is based in Munich and is known for its modern, idiosyncratic and captivating fragrances that get under your skin and leave a lasting impression.
The PHILLY & PHILL range includes several unique fragrances. These were developed in collaboration with perfumers Jérôme Epinette and Christian Carbonnel.

Jérôme Epinette is a renowned French perfumer known for his collaborations with major perfume brands such as Byredo, Atelier Cologne, Frapin and Olfactive Studio. Born and raised in the Burgundy wine region, he developed an early passion for the complexities of winemaking and eventually turned to perfumery.

Epinette is known for his masterful use of high-quality natural ingredients, which he elegantly combines with fine synthetic components to create unique and captivating fragrances. His portfolio includes numerous bestselling and critically acclaimed fragrances for various brands, including both mainstream and niche houses. Of particular note is his collaboration with Ben Gorham in the development of the Byredo line, for which he personally created most of the fragrances.

His work has been recognised with numerous awards, including the prestigious ‘Perfume Extraordinaire’ from the Fragrance Foundation twice.
Jérôme Epinette continues to be an influential figure in the world of perfumery, recognised for his ability to capture the essence of nature in his creations, combining art and science.

Christian Carbonnel, also known under the pseudonym Chris Maurice, is a Spanish master perfumer and a prominent figure in the world of perfumery. Heir to one of Spain's most prestigious perfumery families and director of Carbonnel S.A., a leading company in the industry, he has dedicated his career to creating refined and exceptional fragrances that epitomise his vision of haute perfumery. Carbonnel has collaborated with numerous luxury brands including Accendis, Al Haramain Perfumes, Anfas, Fragrance Du Bois, Masque Milano, Nobile 1942 and Xerjoff. He is known for his ability to blend exquisite essences to create unique and unforgettable fragrances.

His most famous creations include ‘Erba Pura’ for Xerjoff, ‘Dahab’ for Kajal and ‘Camel’ for Zoologist Perfumes. His passion for perfumery and his talent for creating exceptional fragrances have earned him a reputation as one of the most talented and innovative perfumers of our time. Carbonnel is also the ‘ambassador’ of his family business Carbonnel in Spain.
