The fragrance NABRO bears the name of an Eritrean stratovolcano on the Red Sea, which was thought to be extinct for years - until it awoke with irrepressible vigour in 2011. This impressive force of nature is reflected in the composition: a gentle opening that develops into a passionate explosion with increasing intensity. A fragrance that ignites the dormant embers of seduction.

On 13 June 2011, the first historically documented eruption of Nabro occurred, triggered by a series of earthquakes. The eruption caused an ash cloud up to 15 kilometres high, disrupting air traffic, damaging agricultural land and forcing thousands of people to flee. Large quantities of sulphur dioxide were released, which had atmospheric effects. Since then, the volcano has remained quiet but continues to be monitored as it is part of the East African Rift System - a region of intense geological activity.
