"MONOPTEROS" stands as an innovative fragrance that effortlessly balances casual elegance with luxurious creaminess and ethereal texture. This olfactory marvel is the fruit of a collaboration with Anselm Skogstad, the founder of DER DUFT. Inspired by the classic round temple, also known as MONOPTEROS, nestled atop a hill in Munich's English Garden, this fragrance captures the essence of its enchanting surroundings. The temple overlooks picturesque views of the English Garden and the city skyline, serving as a timeless symbol of beauty and serenity. 

"MONOPTEROS" serves as a heartfelt homage to Anselm's cherished hometown of Munich. The fragrance composition of "MONOPTEROS" intricately weaves together a myriad of elements to offer a unique and refined olfactory journey. Notes of coconut, aldehyde, coffee, neroli, raspberry, cucumber, rose, nutmeg, black pepper, and cardamom converge to create an exquisite and sophisticated experience. 

DER DUFT was founded in 2020 by Anselm Skogstad, an artist and photojournalist from Munich who developed a deep love for scents that dates back to his childhood days. He was already interested in scents and began collecting perfumes in his youth. The combination of olfactory and aesthetic beauty fascinated him again and again. The passion for scents was further fueled by a friend in Hong Kong, who motivated Anselm to explore a new artistic field through the inspiringly exciting surroundings and exotic Asian scents. During a stay in Grasse he gained a deeper insight into the conception and production of perfumes.
