Luca Maffei is the creator behind MISS_U: an absence that becomes a presence. While NEED_U is the fragrance's message to the skin, MISS_U is the skin's declaration to the fragrance: a silent or whispered, yet powerful call, I miss you.

MISS_U is the desire to wear a blend of sensuality and tenderness, the longing to be enveloped by ambery, animalic notes and touched by warm woods and vanilla. Again and again.  If it is true that beauty comes from the experiences we have had, it is also true that the desire for the past goes beyond a single moment and makes an emotion last forever.

MISS_U aims to capture the emotion of absence in a mysterious and unique fragrance, like a fleeting and intangible animal.

Luca Maffei is an Italian perfumer known for his creations in the niche perfume market. Born into a family deeply rooted in the world of fragrance, he developed a fascination for the secrets of perfumery at an early age. He began his professional career after graduating in classics and economics, working in the family business. Maffei developed his skills in various international contexts, including Germany and New York, before joining the Symrise family and returning to Paris after 15 years abroad.
