Behind the Fragrance
Parfums MDCI - FÊTES PERSANES - Eau de Parfum
FÊTES PERSANES draws inspiration from Persian festivals, crafting an exotic unisex fragrance that intricately weaves together spices, flowers and woods in a captivating composition. Remarkably sophisticated, it carries a delicate sweetness in its base and maintains a sense of style and elegance despite the presence of patchouli. Pepper and cinnamon dance on a refined wooden foundation, creating a nuanced olfactory experience. This fragrance represents the next chapter in the extensive journey through the Asian continent, following "Cio Cio San" and "Les Indes Galantes". The name FÊTES PERSANES is borrowed from another opera-ballet composed by the 18th-century French composer Jean-Philippe Rameau.
Cécile Zarokian, the skilled perfumer behind this creation, signs it with her expertise, unveiling a complex formula that gracefully unfolds to leave behind a sophisticated scent. The top notes are sparkling and spicy, setting the stage for a cheerful and unforgettable fragrance. Cécile Zarokian, an independent perfumer based in Paris, founded her own company in 2011 and has since crafted over a hundred fragrances for various brands across European, Middle Eastern and Latin American perfume markets. Beyond her proficiency in fine fragrances, home and personal care products, Cécile also serves as a fragrance branding consultant for international companies, aiding them in creating and developing their olfactory identity. Her mastery of scent marketing allows her to curate multi-sensory experiences for unique events and activations. With more than 15 years of experience in the perfume industry, Cécile Zarokian commenced her career with a four-year apprenticeship at Robertet, a prominent French perfume house. Her inaugural fragrance, Epic Woman, created during this period, has become one of Amouage's best-selling scents. She graduated from ISIPCA, the internationally renowned perfumery school founded by JJ Guerlain in Versailles.
