THAUMAS by Sammarco is a floral, fruity fragrance with woody notes. The composition reflects the beauty of nature and unfolds with a feeling of sensual warmth on the skin. The name of the fragrance is derived from the ancient Greek Θαύμας (Thaúmas), a sea god from Greek mythology, who was the son of Pontus and Gaia, and the father of the goddess Iris.

THAUMAS has a floral and sweet top note. The first impression is characterised by the iris root, whose delicate and powdery notes run like a fine thread through the fragrance. The iris is accompanied by a sweet apricot note, which sets the fruity accent. Together, they form a gentle prelude that simultaneously hints at a certain depth that develops afterwards.

An opulent floral variety unfolds in the heart of THAUMAS. Daffodils lend the fragrance a spicy, green note. This is complemented by powdery violet, which softens the floral accord and makes it elegant. Jasmine then adds a subtle sensual note that expands the floral dimension.
