D:SOL MMXVI is a fragrance collection inspired by the combination of summer, sun and longing. The founder, Dennis Werner, had a vision in 2016 to combine the sunny atmosphere of Mallorca with the inspiring and modern urbanity of Berlin. The minimalist design of the fragrances was heavily influenced by his life in Berlin and captures the sensuality of scents under the Mediterranean sun.

D:SOL is a tribute to the sun and the founder's daughters. The sun, or "Sol" in Spanish, is considered the source of all well-being and serves as the central inspiration for the fragrances. The name D:SOL is made up of "D" for Dennis, the founder's first name, and the letters "SO" for Sophie and "L" for Lynn, his two daughters. In this way, D:SOL takes on a deeply personal meaning, closing the circle of elements that have contributed to the creation of the name. The fragrance collection is a collection of moments under the sun, naturally radiant, warm and very personal.

Dennis Werner, with over 25 years of experience in beauty advertising in Europe and the USA and numerous campaigns for renowned clients, decided to translate his vision of modern luxury into his own products. Dennis pays particular attention to detail to create a range of fragrances that capture the essence of emotions and memories.

The D:SOL brand is the result of this vision. Dennis Werner asks himself the following questions when creating a fragrance How do feelings and memories of sun-kissed moments smell? How can light be captured olfactorically? D:SOL, the fragrance range, is designed to provide answers and translate them into fragrances. The collection presents a kaleidoscope of scents that combine the sparkling magic of Mallorca with the vibrant energy of Berlin.

The Perfumer of D:SOL MMXVI

Marie Urban Le Febvre, trained at the ISIPCA in Paris, is an independent perfumer who has created the first collection of three eau de parfums for D:SOL. The ISIPCA is the world's leading school in perfumery, cosmetics and aromas, and its training places a strong emphasis on the craft of traditional perfumery.

As an independent perfumer, Marie Urban Le Febvre brings a unique creative perspective and expertise to the world of perfumery. She is a skilled and dedicated perfumer who draws on diverse influences and inspiration from different cultural contexts through her work in Trieste, Berlin and Paris.

The selected natural and high quality synthetic ingredients used in the D:SOL MMXVI fragrances come from the company Accords et Parfums. This is a small and fine perfume house in Grasse, founded more than 70 years ago by the famous perfumer Edmond Roudnitska. He is the creator of such classics as Diorissimo, Eau Sauvage and Femme by Rochas.
