Behind the Fragrance
Anat Fritz - TZORA - Eau de Parfum
"TZORA" is a fragrance by Anat Fritz that was developed in 2012 in collaboration with the German perfumer Geza Schön. The fragrance was inspired by an Israeli kibbutz called Tzora, which Anat Fritz often visits in the summer. This place, known as the biblical home of Samson and Delilah, is characterised by lemon, olive and pomegranate trees. This landscape is reflected in the fragrance composition, which combines the scents of the earth, the plants and the sky to create a multi-layered and unmistakable perfume. Kibbutz Tzora is located around 20 kilometres west of Jerusalem in the Judean Plain near the town of Beit Shemesh. Originally strongly characterised by agriculture, Tzora has diversified and modernised. An important economic branch of the kibbutz is the Tzora Vineyards winery, which was founded in 1993 and is now one of the most renowned wineries in Israel. The wines are known for their elegance and the special flavour of the region's limestone soils. Kibbutz Tzora is also a popular destination for tourists who want to gain an insight into life on a kibbutz. Visitors can visit the Tzora Winery and the Teperberg Winery, both located on the grounds of the kibbutz.
TZORA by Anat Fritz begins with a slightly sweet note of sun-ripened oranges, followed by a hint of pepper that introduces a lemony freshness. Mineral notes of warm earth and moss give the fragrance a chypre-like structure. The base notes of cedarwood and vetiver give TZORA a powerful but calming depth. Other fragrance notes include cassis, sage, bergamot, magnolia, osmanthus, jasmine, patchouli and musk. TZORA by Anat Fritz, created by Geza Schön, is a fragrance that celebrates man's connection with the earth. It is equally at home in business life as it is when hiking in the mountains or in fine restaurants.
The combination of fragrance notes radiates warmth and freshness and makes TZORA a modern classic. The versatility of the fragrance is demonstrated by the fact that it can be worn on both cold and summery days. Geza Schön is a true magician of fragrance molecules, which he proves with his own Escentric Molecules collection. His creations are known for their innovative and avant-garde approach, making him an influential and respected perfumer in the modern fragrance industry. "TZORA" by Anat Fritz is a multi-layered fragrance that captivates with its harmonious combination of sweet, spicy and earthy notes. With its chypre-like base and fresh top notes, it offers a balanced and calming fragrance experience that reflects the closeness to nature of the Tzora kibbutz. TZORA is light yet spicy, woody with a hint of mint
