The fragrance TCHAI by hima jomo is inspired by the Darjeeling tea fields that stretch out in the foothills of the Himalayas. The tea leaves are carefully picked by hand, reflecting the deep connection between the land and the people who work it.

The fragrance begins with a tart tea note, which is complemented by fresh bergamot and warm cardamom. A floral blend of mimosa, osmanthus and ylang-ylang unfolds in the heart. Finally, the base notes bring out the warming nuances of Indian sandalwood and various types of tea. Overall, TCHAI is an exciting, spicy and fresh fragrance that is both calming and revitalising.

You are standing on the rolling hills of the Darjeeling tea fields, surrounded by bright green bushes that stretch to the horizon. The sun is just beginning to bathe the sky in a warm, golden light. You breathe in deeply and feel the fresh, clear air filled with the delicate scent of tea leaves.

As you walk through the fields, you see the farmers who have already started work before dawn. Their hands are rough from the hard labour, but there is a sparkle in their eyes that shows pride and dedication. They pick each individual leaf with an almost loving tenderness, as if they were holding a precious jewel in their hands. Every move is an expression of their deep connection with the earth and their tireless dedication to keeping the tea bushes healthy and bringing out the best in them.

You, too, carefully pluck a leaf and hold it in your hands for a moment. The fresh, sweet aroma reaches your nose and lingers on your hands, a reminder of the irrepressible power of nature and the indefatigable human spirit. You know that these tea leaves will turn into an aromatic flavour of comfort, a tribute to tireless work and the deep connection between man and nature.

To strengthen its commitment to environmental protection, hima jomo has partnered with Nepal Evergreen. This organisation fights deforestation in the Himalayas through tree planting initiatives. For every perfume (50ml) sold, a tree is proudly planted in Nepal.
