In the essence of GORSELAND unfolds a summer afternoon in the Scottish Highlands, where the air is saturated with the warm scents of fully blossomed gorse fields. It's a ballet of sun-kissed floral notes, where the lush aromas of pineapple and coconut gently merge with the silky delicacy of powdery iris butter.

GORSELAND captures the dual nature of a Scottish summer: on one hand, the delicate, airy sweetness of summer blossoms; on the other, their irresistible persistence, far from fleeting, leaving a deep and lasting mark in memory.  

Jorum Studio is an independent perfume house based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was founded in 2019 by Scottish perfumer Euan McCall and his partner Chloe Mullen. The company specialises in creating modern, artistic fragrances that are often inspired by the Scottish landscape, culture and folklore.

Euan McCall and Chloe Mullen ran Jorum Laboratories since 2010 before founding Jorum Studio, where they developed fragrances for various iconic brands. Jorum Studio aims to establish a new international perfume industry in Scotland that puts craftsmanship and artistry at its centre. The company uses high quality and sustainable raw materials and combines traditional craftsmanship with modern perfumery techniques

The studio is located in the creative Stockbridge area of Edinburgh. Here, Jorum Studio also operates a micro-lab where fragrances can be created and developed on site. The shop serves as a creative hub, exhibiting work by winners of the Jorum Craft Award, a prize that supports contemporary craftspeople in Scotland. Customers can experience the fragrances first-hand and gain insight into the creative process 

Jorum Studio offers a variety of fragrance collections, including the ‘Scottish Odyssey Collection’, which captures the Scottish landscape and culture in various fragrance compositions. Well-known fragrances from this collection include:

ASKR: A smoky, woody and maritime fragrance.
Pentimento: A rich bouquet of hazelnut, broom and tonka bean.
Spiritcask: A fragrance that captures the essence of a Scottish whisky cask.
Rose Highland: A fragrance that reflects the wild beauty of the Scottish Highlands
