The acidity of the berries blends skillfully with a sweet note, creating a feeling of well-being, like the memory of warm fruit juice savoured in the enveloping softness of a wool blanket. Like berries ground into a sweet purée in a mortar and pestle, it possesses a dual nature: healing and nurturing.

Healing Berry by Jorum Studio is an Extrait de Parfum released in 2022. Developed by Euan McCall, the fragrance is part of the "Scottish Odyssey" collection. It captures the essence of the Scottish landscape and folklore and is described as a fruity, green, gourmand fragrance.

Healing Berry by Jorum Studio begins with an intense, juicy berry aroma, captivating with a blend of sweet and tart notes. The top note is a combination of various berries and fresh, green herbs, reminiscent of a walk through a fertile forest in late summer. The heart notes offer floral depth with rose and violet petals, while the base notes are complemented by a blend of sweet, earthy, and creamy accords.

HEALING BERRY was inspired by the Scottish landscape, particularly the Strathmore Valley. The fragrance pays homage to the region's natural splendor and mystical atmosphere. The idea was to create a "tannic-sweet blend" that could both heal and harm, similar to the wild berries found in the forest.

Jorum Studio is an independent perfume house based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Founded in 2019 by Scottish perfumer Euan McCall and his partner Chloe Mullen, it specializes in the creation of modern, artistic fragrances, often inspired by the Scottish landscape, culture, and folklore.

Before founding Jorum Studio, Euan McCall and Chloe Mullen ran Jorum Laboratories since 2010, developing fragrances for various iconic brands. Jorum Studio aims to establish a new international perfume industry in Scotland that places craftsmanship and artistry at its core. The company uses high-quality and sustainable raw materials and combines traditional craftsmanship with modern perfumery techniques.

The Jorum Studio is located in the creative Stockbridge area of ​​Edinburgh. Here, Jorum Studio also operates a microlab where fragrances can be created and refined on-site. The shop serves as a creative hub, showcasing works by winners of the Jorum Craft Award, a prize that supports contemporary artisans in Scotland.
