Inspired by his love for Italy, master perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena has created a collection of fragrances that are portraits of Italian happiness. Mandarino, Limone, Bergamotto, Arancia Rossa and Pompelmo are the fragrances in the "Viaggio in Italia" collection, a journey to Italy, fragrances that are like sunshine in winter.

"Although citrus fruits originated in China, bergamot is Italian. It is a pity that nobody knows who created it by crossing a lemon tree with a bitter orange: This inventor should be honoured in the same way as his colleague Clément, who invented the clementine. Italian merchants managed to sell bergamot on the Chinese markets to add to their inferior tea fragrance, which they then sold on the English market. I am often asked if I have any olfactory preferences. I have always said that I do not, in order to conceal the manipulations I make on perfumes, because the work of a perfumer is always that of an illusionist. Yes, I have preferences and they vary according to my needs, my desires. I have temporary loves and permanent ones, including my love for bergamot.
