LUCIENNE – A Different Light. The perfume LUCIENNE by Liis embodies transparency, modernity and luminosity. It celebrates moments of clarity and creativity with an uplifting blend of crisp fruits and fresh aquatic florals, radiating positivity. Co-founders Leslie Hendin and Alissa Sullivan liken LUCIENNE to the music of Stereolab, an avant-pop band from the late '90s and early 2000s fronted by French artist Laetitia Sadier.
Sadier's breathy and ethereal vocals, combined with Stereolab's unique blend of indie pop, experimental rock and electronic music, inspired the fragrance's light, exuberant and bright character. Laetitia Sadier, born in Paris in 1968, has been a prominent figure in the indie music scene since the early 1990s. Known for her distinctive vocal style and Stereolab's innovative sound, Sadier remains admired for her creativity and uncompromising artistry. Named after Alissa's Parisian mother and coincidentally Leslie's son's middle name, LUCIENNE pays homage to French heritage while capturing the essence of light and vitality.
