Mark Buxton was born in England in 1964 but grew up in Germany. His passion for perfumery led him to France, where he trained in Grasse, the world centre of perfumery. In the early 1990s, Buxton began his career as a perfumer and quickly gained recognition for his ability to create unusual and daring compositions. Mark Buxton is known for his minimalist but refined style. His fragrances are unmistakable:

Taking part in the programme was not only an exciting experience, but also marked a turning point in his life. As a result, he was given the opportunity to complete an internship at Haarmann & Reimer (now part of Symrise). This laid the foundation for his career as a perfumer.
