To ensure that you can enjoy your fine scented candle for a long time, please observe the following tips:

When burning the candle for the first time, the surface of the candle must be completely melted. This process may take a little longer, especially the first time, but this will prevent the candle from burning inwards like a goblet. Please never leave your candle burning unattended and ensure that there is sufficient distance upwards and around the candle, as the flame could otherwise cause soot marks.

The distance to curtains should be at least 50 cm, to the ceiling at least 40 centimetres and if you place several candles together at least 12 to 15 cm.

The liquid wax layer should be a maximum of about one centimetre. When this amount of wax has liquefied, extinguish the candle and allow the wax to cool and solidify again. Shorten the wick of the candle to approx. 5mm before burning it again. This will reduce the formation of soot and create the best conditions for a steady flame. The total burning time should not exceed approx. 4 hours.

The Illumination Rose Candle by OSTENS instantly fills your space with the opulent and refined aroma of numerous Turkish roses. The fragrance ingredients for this rose-scented candle were sourced from the valleys of Anatolia. Harvesting the Rosa Damascena, the queen of flowers, commences at dawn to preserve the precious scent molecules before the sun rises.

The rose petals are meticulously preserved in the shade until they reach the copper stills. Post-distillation, the rose oil contains a concentrated blend of all fragrance components. The rich scent of countless rose petals, tinged with a hint of greenness and enlivened by notes of exotic red fruits, enchants and immediately enthralls the senses. Are you familiar with the Turkish delicacy Lokum?

Gourmand fragrances like Rahät Loukoum by Serge Lutens or Loukhoum by Keiko Mecheri evoke memories of this confectionery. The Illumination Rose from Ostens skillfully captures these fragrance compositions. Presented in an exquisite, hand-blown, ribbed glass vessel, the hand-poured wax blend ensures optimal burning and the most delicate distribution of fragrance.
