Behind the Fragrance
Parfums de Marly - GREENLEY - Eau de Parfum
A fresh, green and fruity spritzer and a vibrant homage to the power of the earth. A two-sided aesthetic of nobility and nature, classicism and avant-garde, transparency and depth. GREENLEY turns the traditional pyramid on its head with a vertical, high dose of Kaschmir wood in the head, heart and base notes. Each note, each chord is enhanced by the natural character of its raw materials. A cheerful whirlwind of fruit, citrus, bark and sap. The surprising note of a crisp, tangy green apple. A burst of bold freshness. Sicilian bergamot, tangerine, violets and pomarose come together in an interplay of scents. A sensual, paper-like contrast of cedarwood, oakmoss, ambra and moschus.
Pomarose is a Givaudan-patented olfactive molecule known for its intense, fruity, rosy scent with hints of apple, plum and rose. It is a man-made olfactive molecule that does not occur naturally and is used in a wide range of fragrances. Pomarose is characterised by its strong aroma, which can be perceived even in very low concentrations, and is often used in fragrances with a strong, fruity character. The perfumer behind GREENLEY by Parfums de Marly is Nathalie Lorson. This fragrance is described as a lively celebration of nature's finest aromas, with a fresh and energetic note. Like its bottle, GREENLEY is a source of pure energy. A breath of spring - to wear all day, to give or to share.
