KI'LEI is an eau de parfum by SOURCE ADAGE that was launched in 2024. The name KI'LEI comes from the Yawelmani dialect of Central California and means ‘cloud’. The fragrance is inspired by the atmosphere of a passing storm, balancing freshness and intensity like storm-whipped air.
Top notes: Silver fir, bergamot
Heart notes: Fern, jasmine sambac, lavender
Base notes: Coriander, rosemary, black pepper, smoke, mineral-rich earth
This composition combines fresh, floral and spicy notes reminiscent of the electrifying atmosphere of a storm. The fragrance KI'LEI develops quickly on the skin and reflects the dynamics of storm-whipped air. KI'LEI by Source Adage was created in collaboration with perfumer Thomas Siedel from Agilex (Firmenich). Ki'lei from the Source Adage collection is a unisex fragrance that can be worn by both men and women. Its balanced blend of fresh and intense notes makes it suitable for different occasions and seasons. The KI'LEI bottle has an elegant design that reflects the simple yet sophisticated aesthetic of Source Adage. Ki'lei Eau de Parfum is available in different sizes, including 10 ml and 50 ml.
Ki'lei by SOURCE ADAGE is a mesmerising fragrance that captures the dynamic nature of a passing storm. Source Adage is an independent fragrance brand founded by Christopher Draghi and Robert Dobay. The two act as the creative minds and ‘noses’ of the brand and are significantly involved in the creation of the fragrances.
They also work together with renowned perfumers to develop specific fragrances. For example, the fragrance ‘Ki'lei’ was created in collaboration with perfumer Thomas Siedel from Agilex (Firmenich). This combination of internal creativity and external expertise enables Source Adage to develop unique and high-quality fragrances that emphasise both originality and wearability for all skin types. Thomas Siedel is an experienced perfumer currently working as Director of Perfumery and Creative Perfumer at Agilex Fragrances. He began his career at Givaudan/Quest International, where he worked as a perfumer from 1997 to 2006. He joined Agilex Fragrances in 2007 and specialises in the creation of fragrances for various applications. In collaboration with the Source Adage brand, Thomas Siedel has created several fragrances, including:
KI'LEI (2024): A green-earthy unisex fragrance with notes of aldehydes, earthy accords, fern, jasmine sambac, coriander, lavender, mineral notes, smoke, rosemary, black pepper and silver fir.
I'khana (2019): Another unisex fragrance with a composition of grapefruit peel, cardamom, coconut, lime, musk and pink pepper.
