Founded in 2023 by Jeroen Oude Sogtoen – known for his influence on houses such as Mona di Orio – together with the brilliant perfumer Fredrik Dalman, Pantomime represents a new generation of fragrance artistry. Not loud, not explanatory – but precise, moving, and wholly intentional. Each scent is like a silent play in five acts: atmospheric, intimate, open to interpretation.

In a world longing for authenticity, Pantomime returns to the essential: emotion, clarity, elegance of expression. The compositions are deliberately reduced, but never simplistic. They do not aim for drama, but for resonance – for the subtle nuances that make a fragrance unforgettable.

Rather than relying on opulent natural ingredients, perfumer Fredrik Dalman works with the quiet power of molecules. Synthetic materials like Ambrettolide, Ionone, Bisabolene and modern musks are not used as substitutes, but as instruments of precision – creating space, clarity, and timelessness. Every fragrance becomes a dialogue between chemical refinement and emotional intuition.

The first five creations – simply titled “Acts” – don’t tell complete stories. They open rooms. A quiet interior in Act I, the soft stroke of an oar at dawn in Act II, the restless rebellion of a city night in Act III, the Parisian elegance of Act IV, and the aching beauty of longing in Act V. These compositions aren’t chasing trends – they’re made to leave an imprint.

The design speaks just as clearly: bold, sculptural flacons in deep black, with labels like titles from a minimalist stage. No excess. No plot forced. Just atmosphere, suggestion, space for interpretation.
