Amdo, 1920, 05:45 AM in the morning at Lake Koko Nor. A man, fascinated by his own reflection, gazes at his freshly shaved face in the clear, cashmere-blue waters of a lake. He reaches out his hand to explore the boundary between reality and fantasy. He is eager to see how the waves distort his reflection and blend his dreams with reality. 

Pantomime ACT 5 is a modern interpretation of vetiver at high altitudes. Vetiverol is a sesquiterpene alcohol found in vetiver oil. While vetiver oil is sweet and woody-earthy, reminiscent of roots and wet soil, vetiverol presents itself as much cleaner with airy, salty accents. It reveals a rich woodiness and sparkling nuances of grapefruit. The use of vetiverol allows the perfumer to selectively highlight certain nuances, creating a multifaceted fragrance composition.

Similar to the surface tension of a liquid, vetiverol serves as a fundamental base note that provides harmony and structure to the fragrance. In addition to vetiverol, this niche fragrance utilizes galbanum resinoid, a remarkable material with a strong natural identity and a deep dark green note. The addition of green accents to this otherwise blue fragrance palette enhances the feeling of altitude and airy skies. The result is a fragrance that evokes a true sense of blue skies and lifts the spirit to lofty heights. 

Pantomime Parfum was founded in 2023 by Jeroen Oude Sogtoen and Fredrik Dalman. The company aims for opaque clarity through exceptional raw materials and their deconstruction to create fragrances that amplify memories, stories, and emotions. It uses both synthetic and natural ingredients of the highest quality, with synthetic materials playing a central role.

The goal is to create an atmosphere that expresses olfactory scenes.
