Ann Ringstrand and her motivation:
“Over the last few years, I have embarked on a remarkable journey that inspired me to create a new design brand that appeals to the senses and combines the best of urban living and indigenous wisdom.
My story begins with my many years as a designer and co-founder of the Swedish fashion brand HOPE. Despite the success, I often felt trapped in a "fast train" life, with no time for the present or emotional fulfillment. This realization made me want to connect with myself and my surroundings.
In search of a way out of this hectic pace, I discovered the power of the senses. Through the use of smell, touch, taste and hearing, I began to perceive life more intensely and connect more consciously with my surroundings. This realization was the starting point for my new project. I wanted to create products that were not only aesthetically pleasing, but also embodied the best of indigenous wisdom and modern city life.
Inspired by my own journey and beliefs, I eventually founded my own design brand that appeals to the senses and allows people to connect with themselves and their surroundings.”
