Ann Ringstrand – Ground - Eau de Parfum 

The fragrance GROUND is a key element in the inaugural fragrance series from the Ann Ringstrand brand. Created with the intention of enhancing our connection with ourselves, this perfume facilitates a sense of grounding through its calming and airy essence.

The aromatic notes carry a green undertone, making "Ground" refreshing with a mildly spicy outset and a metallic, chalky base. The design incorporates top notes of cardamom, cistus and hedoine, followed by violet leaf, galbanum oil and iron alpha. The composition concludes with soft, grounding base notes, including hay, styrax, vetiver, virgin cedarwood and musk. 

Ann Ringstrand and her motivation:

“Over the last few years, I have embarked on a remarkable journey that inspired me to create a new design brand that appeals to the senses and combines the best of urban living and indigenous wisdom.

My story begins with my many years as a designer and co-founder of the Swedish fashion brand HOPE. Despite the success, I often felt trapped in a "fast train" life, with no time for the present or emotional fulfillment. This realization made me want to connect with myself and my surroundings. In search of a way out of this hectic pace, I discovered the power of the senses. Through the use of smell, touch, taste and hearing, I began to perceive life more intensely and connect more consciously with my surroundings.

This realization was the starting point for my new project. I wanted to create products that were not only aesthetically pleasing, but also embodied the best of indigenous wisdom and modern city life. Inspired by my own journey and beliefs, I eventually founded my own design brand that appeals to the senses and allows people to connect with themselves and their surroundings.”
