D.S. & DURGA BISTRO WATERS / I need a savory perfume water on the fly!

In the vibrant streets of New York City, I came into the blossoming of my adult life around restaurants. Working in the restaurant industry shaped my understanding of the world in a unique way. You were literally in the centre of the action, "the place to be", in the exciting buzz of service, especially at 8:30pm on a busy Friday night. It was like a spark that ignited: loud order calls, hearty laughter, the often questionable music that our overbearing chef kept forcing on us, the eccentric chefs, the exuberant celebrations, first dates full of possibilities and encounters with old friends.

The outside world seemed to be sealed off by the solid walls of the bistro. Inside, you could escape the daily grind or immerse yourself in the scenery, the flavours and the delicious food. What I'm describing here is like a snapshot of a New York bistro from the 90s to the 00s, when tourists ordered their exotic peartinis, vegetables were elevated to a true delicacy and people perfumed the air with fresh aquatic scents. 

"BISTRO WATERS" by D.S. & Durga was launched in 2022 and belongs to the aromatic green fragrance category. It is reminiscent of the hectic but charming environment of a bistro, where the flavours of fresh ingredients and the energy of urban life merge.

The top note consists of lime blossom water, coriander seeds and pear, which give the fragrance a fresh and sparkling opening. The heart note combines mandarin, paprika and pea blossom, adding an interesting and unusual green and slightly spicy facet. The base notes are basil, nutmeg and moss water, which add depth and complexity to the fragrance and create an earthy, calming base.

The BISTRO WATERS fragrance is particularly suitable for those who prefer light, fresh and green scents that still have a certain depth and sophistication. It is ideal for everyday use and is perfect for warm days or relaxing evenings.
