Gustav Mahler, the ingenious Austrian-Jewish composer whose melodies led classical music from the lush realms of Romanticism to the shimmering waters of modernity, himself felt drawn to the ancient bonds of Germanic mythology and nature-loving wisdom.

In the shadowy halls of ancient forests, Mahler found the inspiration for his epic compositions, in which the human soul was seen like a sparkling diamond in the sunlight. Like a dreaming wanderer among the moss-covered tree trunks, he roamed the ornate landscapes of his music, always in search of the hidden treasures of nature, whose secrets lay concealed in the soft songs of the leaves and the gentle whisper of the wind. 

AMBER TEUTONIC by D.S. & Durga is an eau de parfum launched in 2018 that offers a rich, aromatic composition reminiscent of the unspoilt nature of the Alps. The fragrance captures the atmosphere and spirit of the alpine forests, inspired by the idea of a Nibelung treasure.

The top note of AMBER TEUTONIC consists of alpine cedar, cardamom and green mandarin, which give the fragrance a fresh and spicy opening. The heart notes include geranium, European larch and Templin cone, which provide a green, woody depth. The base note combines Austrian pine, opoponax and musk, giving the fragrance a warm and earthy foundation that lingers.

This fragrance is reminiscent of the fresh, clear scents of an alpine forest. The combination of woody and amber notes creates a luxurious and calming composition that is suitable for both men and women. AMBER TEUTONIC has moderate sillage and good longevity.
