Behind the Fragrance
Filippo Sorcinelli UNUM IO NON HO MANI CHE MI ACCAREZZINO IL VOLTO - Extrait de Parfum
"Io_non_mani_che_mi_accarezzino_il_volto" celebrates Mario Giacomelli's photographic project from the 1960s: Young men were often forced to study at the seminary because their families could not afford the tuition. It shows the difficult choice between loneliness and sacrifice.
The scent recalls Mario's Tuscan ziggurats, then the acid and inks of the darkroom where he developed his paintings, mixed with the sea air of Senigallia, where Giacomelli lived. / The grey silver is reminiscent of Mario's camera, the cap is covered with double leather that can be shaped to create your own perfumed creation. The cap recalls the photographer's camera bag and the dance of the seminarians that can be seen in the pictures.
An olfactory tribute to MARIO GIACOMELLI, one of the world's most famous photographers, whom Filippo Sorcinelli knew and who lived in his soul. The name of the perfume is the same as the project carried out in the SENIGALLIA SEMINAR among young people in the wardrobe.
Mario Giacomelli was a renowned Italian photographer known for his unique and expressive black and white photographs. He was born on 1. August 1925 in Senigallia, Italy and died on 25. November 2000. Giacomelli began his photographic career in the late 1950s and became best known for his documentary and socially critical work. He often focused on life in rural areas and small communities, creating images that capture both the beauty and the harshness of rural life.
The fragrance is rich and complex, beginning with a base of frankincense, benzoin, tonka bean, tobacco, amber and sandalwood. These heavy and sensual notes are balanced by counter notes of cedarwood, geranium, muscatel salbei, cinnamon leaves, styrax and ylang-ylang. The combination of these notes gives the fragrance a complex and balanced structure.
At the start, the bitter note of the zest of the bergamot peel is striking. This gives the fragrance a vibrant and captivating quality. The cinnamon at the heart evokes the festive season, while the woody notes lend a smoky presence. Finally, fresh and invigorating notes of petitgrain, bergamot, galbanum and myrrh add a certain lightness and freshness to the fragrance, enhancing its complexity.
All in all, this is a fragrance that evokes a wide range of aromas and sensations, from sensual and warm to fresh and invigorating. All in all, the fragrance seems to be a complex and appealing composition that combines a variety of aromas and sensations, while retaining a certain elegance and refinement.
