The Fischersund Skammdegi (Darkness) Discovery Set is a select collection that captures the intensity and mystery of the Icelandic winter. ‘Skammdegi’, which means ‘darkness’ in Icelandic, refers to the dramatically shortened daylight at the winter solstice and conveys a feeling of fascination and warmth in the midst of the cold.

FLOTHOLT
A limited edition fragrance created in collaboration with Sigur Rós. Amber, bergamot, birch tar, fresh air, seaweed, dirt, grass and vetiver create a unique fragrance composition.

The Skammdegi set, like its Light counterpart, is presented in a handmade tin box made by the father of the family, Birgir. This detail emphasises the brand's commitment to quality craftsmanship and a personal touch.

The set is made in Iceland from sustainably sourced ingredients and reflects the stark beauty and harsh contrasts of the Icelandic winter landscape.

The main shop of the FISCHERSUND manufactory is located at Fischersund 3 in the centre of Reykjavík. The building has an eventful history and used to serve as a bakery, among other things. Today it is characterised by its unique atmosphere. Wooden beams from old ships and an old organ prospectus, which is now used as a "perfume organ" for the presentation of the fragrances.  FISCHERSUND's fragrances are inspired by the pure and unique nature of Iceland. They are handmade in Reykjavík. The packaging is sustainable. High-quality Icelandic oils and wild-collected herbs are used.
