VÊPRES SICILIENNES is a perfume that seems to have countless facets, a composition that unfolds and unravels, unfolding over hours and hours, revealing all its complexity and sophistication. A vibrant and sunny scent that captures the essence of a Sicilian summer, with notes of Mediterranean citrus, jasmine and musk. VÊPRES SICILIENNES is Jeanne-Marie Faugier's olfactory homage to Italy: a garden full of orange trees, their branches stretching towards the sea, as the heat of the afternoon slowly fades and the day draws to a close to make way for a Mediterranean night in which the scents of the day merge with those of the night.

This fragrance, inspired by the magnificent beauty and abundance of Italy, is extremely complex and multifaceted: the start of the fragrance is hesperid floral, dominated by a variety of citrus fruits, which are accompanied by some flowers and green notes and a pinch of spice by cardamom and pepper receive. The opulent floral heart is complemented by woody accents of cedar and prepares the transition to the base with heliotrope and amber. Here the soft-warm tendency is picked up by vanilla, musk and hints of butterscotch with its fine caramel note and revealed from an unexpected side. Notes of osmanthus, peach, raspberry and plum with a hint of coconut provide a delicious, gourmand finish to the fragrance. VÊPRES SICILIENNES a mysterious, complex and captivating play of light and shadow. On the one hand a fruity-green chypre, on the other hand also floral and then there is the base that every lover of fruity gourmand scents will like, will inspire.

The fragrance was created by Jeanne-Marie Faugiers with her long experience in scent creation and perfumery. Born and raised in Paris, she studied science and chemistry in Paris and Nice and entered the Roure perfume school in 1986. Jeanne-Marie spent 13 years at Givaudan in Grasse, Geneva and Paris, specializing in new molecule development, fine perfumery and personal care. After two years at Colgate-Palmolive, she worked at Technicoflor, AFF and Symrise to further deepen her expertise in consumer and fine perfumery. Creating scents that bring joy and promote customer well-being is still her passion, even after all these years, and she works closely with the entire Paris perfume team on numerous key brands. Jeanne-Marie still finds inspiration in the art of perfumery. She loves experimenting with different ingredients and creating unique formulas that bring joy and well-being to her clients. She currently works closely with the entire Firmenich Paris perfume team on numerous important brands. Jeanne-Marie's dedication and passion for her craft have made her a valuable asset to the fragrance industry.
