To ensure that you can enjoy your fine scented candle for a long time, please observe the following tips:

When burning the candle for the first time, the surface of the candle must be completely melted. This process may take a little longer, especially the first time, but this will prevent the candle from burning inwards like a goblet. Please never leave your candle burning unattended and ensure that there is sufficient distance upwards and around the candle, as the flame could otherwise cause soot marks.

The distance to curtains should be at least 50 cm, to the ceiling at least 40 centimetres and if you place several candles together at least 12 to 15 cm.

The liquid wax layer should be a maximum of about one centimetre. When this amount of wax has liquefied, extinguish the candle and allow the wax to cool and solidify again. Shorten the wick of the candle to approx. 5mm before burning it again. This will reduce the formation of soot and create the best conditions for a steady flame. The total burning time should not exceed approx. 4 hours.

Paul Smith Day Dreamer Scented Candle

A summer holiday like no other. Stone-lined gardens, aromatic herbs and a bike ride past sunny fields. That's what Daydreamer from Paul Smith's Home collection reminds us of.

The DAY DREAMER scented candle from the Paul Smith collection is hand-poured and blended with high-quality ingredients to ensure exceptional fragrance diffusion. The wax is contained in a tinted glass jar with a contrasting lid that doubles as a coaster - an expression of Paul's love of colour and its infinite combinations. After firing, why not give your jar a new life as a pen or flower pot? Or use it to store art objects, toiletries, flowers or other bits and bobs?

CAUTION: Only burn this candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Do not burn for more than four hours at a time. Trim the wick to 5 mm. Discontinue use when 10 mm of wax remains or the wick disc becomes visible. Allow the wax to harden before moving. Be careful when extinguishing the flame. Place candles at least 10 cm apart and leave space for the flame.

The glass jar with the contrasting lid is designed so that it can be used again and again. The lid serves to cover the extinguished candle and can be used as a colourful accent and coaster during the burning time.
