A smoky, wintry and distinctly cosy fragrance.

Hand-poured and blended with high quality ingredients, this candle is formulated to give off an exceptional fragrance. The wax is contained in a tinted glass jar with a contrasting lid that doubles as a coaster - an expression of Paul's love of colours and their endless combinations. After burning down, the jar can be reused as a pen holder or flower pot, or perhaps for storing art supplies, toiletries, flowers or other small items?

Why not give your burnt-out candle and its container a new life as a pen or flower pot? Or use it as a storage place for art supplies or toiletries. The lid serves to cover the extinguished candle and can be used as a colourful accent coaster while the candle is burning. 

The Scent Storyteller is inspired by the design and ideas journeys Paul Smith used to take into the Nottinghamshire countryside. He used to plan and dream his next collections by a crackling fire in the wintry countryside. The name of the fragrance is a nod to Paul Smith as a storyteller. 

Meabh Mc Curtin has captured this wintery atmosphere around a cosy open fire with vetiver from Java, guaiac wood and patchouli oil and transports it into our homes with Storyteller from the Paul Smith Collection.

CAUTION: Only burn this candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Do not burn for more than four hours at a time. Trim the wick to 5 mm. Discontinue use when 10 mm of wax remains or the wick disc becomes visible. Allow the wax to harden before moving. Be careful when extinguishing the flame. Place candles at least 10 cm apart and leave space for the flame.
