Behind the Fragrance
Fischersund - No. 54 Eau de Parfum
Fischersund Eau de Parfum No. 54 is an oriental, woody fragrance for men and women developed by Jón Þór ‘Jónsi’ Birgisson, the lead singer of the Icelandic band Sigur Rós. No. 54 is a tribute to our father's workshop.
‘In our childhood, it was a space full of exciting possibilities - from tools of the trade to an apprentice's workbench - with a hint of danger.’
This perfume transforms unconventional flavours into something exciting and powerful. Fischersund Eau de Parfum No. 54 is a unique unisex fragrance created by the Icelandic family-owned Fischersund Manufactory. This fragrance transforms unconventional flavours into a captivating and powerful experience.
Customer reviews describe No. 54 as a dark, woody fragrance with a chemical note reminiscent of motor oil. Jónsi, one of the founders, described this fragrance in a podcast as probably the brand's most ‘brutal’, inspired by her father's blacksmith workshop. Some wearers find it warm and calming, with accords of vetiver, patchouli and animal musk.
Fischersund No. 54 is a fragrance for those who appreciate the unconventional and want to stand out from traditional perfume compositions. It captures the essence of craftsmanship, industrial flair and the rugged beauty of Iceland.

The base completes the profile with notes of Icelandic fir, salty liquorice, animalic musk and a hint of ammonia, giving the fragrance a unique and unmistakable signature.
