Tropiques by Fragrance Du Bois was created by the talented perfumer Gael Montero. Launched in 2024, this luxurious extrait de parfum takes you on an olfactory journey to tropical climes. With sparkling top notes of bergamot, mandarin and tropical fruits, the fragrance opens with an invigorating freshness. Floral accords of lavandin, Mahonial® and Rosyfolia® unfold in the heart, lending the fragrance an elegant depth. The base notes of caramel, amber and musk ensure a sensual and long-lasting finish. Tropiques is a unisex fragrance that captures the essence of an endless summer and is suitable for both men and women. Gaël Montero is a talented French-Spanish perfumer who is currently a junior perfumer at Givaudan. His international career reflects his cosmopolitan background and demonstrates his ability to combine different cultural influences in his fragrance creations.

Growing up with French and Spanish roots, Gaël Montero developed a passion for the arts and the senses at an early age. He originally began studying film, but decided to follow his growing enthusiasm for fragrances and switched to perfumery. He completed his training at the renowned Givaudan Perfumery School in Paris, having previously worked for two years under the guidance of experienced perfumer Jordi Fernandez in Barcelona.  After his training, Gaël Montero moved to Dubai, where he experienced the diverse fragrance culture of the Middle East first-hand. This experience shaped his creative approach and broadened his understanding of different fragrance preferences and traditions. In his work, he draws inspiration from the Middle East's preference for woody notes and combines this with his own affinity for musk;
