Francis Kurkdjian, the mastermind behind this creation, started his illustrious career at the tender age of 24 when he composed "Le Male" for Jean Paul Gaultier. This fragrance achieved international success and was hailed as a groundbreaking creation.

Rather than resting on this initial success, Kurkdjian, a visionary in the fragrance world, sought to redefine perfume creation and elevate it to a new artistic dimension. In 2001, against the prevailing trend of mass distribution of perfumes, Kurkdjian established his own tailor-made fragrance studio. Simultaneously, he continued to lend his masterful skills and intuitive sensitivity to the foremost fashion designers, including Rick Owens, Hedi Slimane, Riccardo Tisci, Alber Elbaz and John Galliano, as well as iconic brands such as Dior, Guerlain and Saint-Laurent. From 2003 onwards, Kurkdjian ventured into creating fragrance compositions for artists such as Sophie Calle, Christian Rizzo and Sarkis. These collaborations served as a wellspring of inspiration, influencing his aesthetic sensibilities and enabling him to push the boundaries of various disciplines and sensory experiences. Kurkdjian's journey reflects not only his commitment to craftsmanship but also his desire to explore new frontiers in the world of perfumery.
