The Black Collection by Perris Monte Carlo pays homage to some of the most precious raw materials in perfumery. The six extracts have been developed with a higher concentration of fragrances, maximizing their scent yield. This focus on raw materials allows us to bring out nuances that were previously only subtly noticeable. Despite the increased concentration, the extracts have not become aggressive. On the contrary, the lower alcohol content enables a harmonious start with optimal volatilization of each individual scent.

Agarwood, also known as Oud, is often referred to as the "wood of the gods" and is one of the most precious and fascinating ingredients in the world of fragrance. The opening of this fragrance is subtle and is accompanied by a softer note of incense, creating an elegant and spiritual atmosphere.

For our Al Oud, we have selected a high-quality oud of the highest quality from the Middle East. As a tribute to the beauty and complexity of this ancient ingredient, we chose to use double the amount of oud compared to the base formula. The Perris Monte Carlo Absolue OUD IMPERIAL fragrance was created by Luca Maffei.

Luca Maffei grew up surrounded by endless fragrance sample bottles and was in the company of many famous names in perfumery such as Lucas Sieuzac, Dominique Ropion and Michel Almairac. His father was already at home in the world of perfumes. This unique environment and upbringing awakened Luca's fascination for fragrance raw materials and the mysterious alchemy of fragrance creation. With the founding of Atelier Fragranze Milano, Luca Maffei became a member of the Société Française des Parfumeurs (SFP) in 2014. Since then, he has created over 50 fragrances for mainstream and niche brands, as well as air fresheners and candles. Luca Maffei's creations "Black Pepper & Sandalwood" by Acca Kappa and "Néa" by JUL ET MAD Paris won the "Independent" category at the 2015 and 2016 Art and Olfaction Awards in Los Angeles.
